主讲人简介：

He is Head of the School of Information Technology and Mathematical Sciences at the University of South Australia, the state’s largest IT School. He has previously worked in a number of roles within the University, including spending 15 years as Dean : Academic within the Division of IT, Engineering and the Environment. He has a Ph.D. in Statistics and has been involved in many collaborative research projects with colleagues from a range of different disciplines. He has worked on a wide range of major projects within the University in the area of STEM education for which he has won State and National awards including the inaugural SA Premier’s Science Educator of the Year. He is currently interested in encouraging students to consider exciting new careers in IT and Mathematics and to support them in developing their ideas and starting their own businesses.
